What this page is all about:
I decided to create this page one day while I was doing what I do best - researching. I thought, "I should create a website that houses not only all of my thoughts, ideas, and interests, but also serves as a place for other people that are just like me to do the same." Having never created a website before, this will be a work in progress. I ask for your patience while I figure this out and create something that truly reflects my vision. The title of this page is an attempt to put an all-encompassing adjective on who I am. The definition of 'diversified' is as follows: "distinguished by various forms or by a variety of objects" (Dictionary.com) Basically, I feel I'm not just one type of person - a businesswoman, a housewife, a veteran, an entrepreneur, a conservative, mean, nice, country, city, American, Italian. How I feel about who I am changes daily, even throughout the day. Besides that, I have so many interests I find it hard to keep up with myself - one day I want to be a stay-at-home mom, another I want to be a teacher, then a librarian, then a nurse, no, a doctor, maybe a businesswoman again. I know I can't be the only housewife, woman, or person that feels and acts this way. Hence the birth of my website. I haven't completely decided what all this site will entail or even do, but I'm sure I'll figure it out as I go.
Informal Disclaimer:
From time to time I may post something of controversial nature, such as anything political or religious. I will tell you off the bat that I tend to lean more towards the right, however, that is only because I am conservative. There are certain things that politicos on the right promote or believe in that I simply do not. With religion, I am a Christian, however, that does not mean I do not accept and respect all other religions and belief systems. My foundation lies in this simple truth-we are all free men (or people if you prefer). I believe it is not my place to criticize another man for his beliefs (although when I don't agree, I tend to battle, but in a healthy, thought-provoking way). I ask for the same tolerance with viewers of this site. Please be respectful and hopefully unoffended by any posts you may not agree with. Yet I hope viewers will use their conflicting views to comment and generate a healthy dialogue. It is my furthest intention to disclude any viewers from visiting this site, even though I'm sure that's inevitable. This is not to say that all content will be controversial. I'm sure these types of posts will be few and far between. Regardless, respect for my and all others' freedom of speech is required. Besides, this is my website and I'll post what I like : )
About Me:
I am a newly self-made housewife. In other words I left my away-from-home job to take care of my house and husband full-time. I don't have any children yet, but I am a proud parent to my "baby puppy" Lincoln. I'm technically 31 years old, but still feel like I'm a kid at times. I graduated from Binghamton University with a B.S. in Business Management and I served as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army from 2006-2010. I'm conservative, feministic, spiritual, goofy, emotional, agressive, sarcastic, loving, and stubborn, to say the least. My credentials come from my life experience - I know it because I lived it. I love learning new things either through academia or on my own. My life goals are so various and ever-changing, I will leave listing any of them to posts on this website as I develop it (not that any of you really care about my life goals).
